Press Release July 13, 2011 Digitron Software buys competitor CraigslistCrawler.com for cash to expand user base for CrawlerOS  Los Angeles, CA – Digitron Software LLC, premier developer of software solutions and internet application in the business software space is further investing in its successful CrawlerOS platform through the acquisition of CraigslistCrawler.com, a simple site that allows for refined searching of Craigslist.org nationally. The acquisition was more about the user base and the number 1 google ranking the site boasts rather than it's technology or functionality. Digitron Chief Software Architect Marc San Pedro commented, "Our interest in the site was purely based on google traffic numbers, ranking and expanding our growing audience for the much anticipated CrawlerOS product that is pending release later this year. Although the site is very simple it brings a significant user base that will nicely compliment our other domain holdings, which include: CraigslistCrawler.net, CraigslistCrawler.org and more. We are very excited to release this great tool that natively interfaces with craigslist data." The purchase is expected to finish by weeks end, although the legacy site will remain in place for a short period until Digitron deploys its first update to the functionality of advanced national searching, tracking and more.
